Mission: Crush the stigmas associated with addiction, hunger and homelessness, and be a leader in the sober majority. Here is the progress we made in 2021:
SHOUT Sobriety – Thirty-three people enrolled in our SHOUT Sobriety program for high-functioning alcoholics in 2021. In total, the program has helped 102 people since its inception in the summer of 2019.
Echoes of Recovery – Seventy-eight loved ones of alcoholics enrolled in our Echoes of Recovery program in 2021. Since the start of the program in April of 2020, we have worked with a total of 116 people.
Marriagevolution – We launched our Marriagevolution program in Q1 of 2021. It is a once per month support group for couples trying to recovery their alcoholic marriages. We enrolled 26 couples in the Marriagevolution in 2021.
Sober and Unashamed – Our blog attracted over 30k unique visitors in 2021 (down from 48k in 2020). Our pages were viewed over 64k times this year (down from 83k times last year). We ended the year with over 4,600 subscribers.
Untoxicated Podcast – Our podcast episodes were downloaded 83k times in 2021 (up from 27k downloads in 2020). At the end of the year, we were getting roughly 2,000 downloads per week (double the average weekly downloads at the of the end of 2020).
Stone Soup Publishing – Our soberevolution: Evolve into Sobriety and Recover Your Alcoholic Marriage was an Amazon top new release in September of 2020. In 2021, we sold over 1,000 copies, with over 74k pages read in Kindle Unlimited. Our best sales ever came in Q4 as we’ve improved our advertising strategy without increasing our advertising spend.
The Story Writing Workshops – We hosted seven ongoing versions of our The Story Writing Workshop in 2021. Three are online and reach people around the world, while four workshops are held in person in Denver.
Stigmattack – We received $419k in grant funding in 2021 to feed homeless and hungry students in Denver Public Schools. We serve six DPS food panties on a weekly basis, and expect to increase the schools served to eleven in 2022.
Neighborlies – We assembled and distributed roughly 800 emergency relief food bags to our homeless neighbors in 2021. We installed four “Fooding Cabinets” to help distribute the food.
Christmas in the Park – We collected and purchased 1,226 backpacks and 200 rolling suitcases. They were distributed to our homeless neighbors on Christmas morning in downtown Denver. In the five years of our participation in this event, this was our the largest procurement and distribution.
